hey guys. saw many numbers thrown around but would like your take on this question.

if i choose to train passing for PG+SG , based on your experience, what would be the training speed as opposed to single position?

if you dont mind i would prefer personal experience over spit-balling.

I would say it is around %65-70. The numbers that I have was from training source project (bb-usa).

For short and 18 years old players:

PG Passing : 0,66
PG/SG Passing: 0,48

I second this. My 20 yr old 6'10 PF gained 3 PA in 4 trainings.

So if i train one player PG, 3 guys at 100%
Or if i train two player PG+SG, 6 guys at 70%
If this is the case...wouldn't 2 player training be more efficient?

More efficient in terms of training more players yes. However those 6 players will see pops in passing skills slower so it would be less efficient in terms of skill increases.

Now, I suppose if you created a big enough elastic effect you could get PG+SG to train passing as fast as PG only (w/o elastic effect) for a few weeks. However, once the elastic effect wears off it will still be slower in seeing players pop skills.

Doesn't the elastic effect kind of even out in the wash , so to speak?

The downside of that is that you can't train higher potential players to or even near to their cap easily if you take the two position versions of training. I did a lot of two position training when I first started over several seasons, with five guards who all ended up being good players at roughly star potential, but they weren't really ever going to be good enough to be much more than depth players once I got into II (and at the time, even in III they were really backups).

So basically, your saying it's about impossible to get players TSP to their farthest potential unless you go single player training. Assuming the potentials are all really good ones...mvp, hof, etc...

Yes. Even single position is it’s quite hard to cap an ATG potential player
