Basic matchup analysis: See where their players are scoring from, if their SF also provides a lot of outside shooting and you have 3 high OD players, go 3-2 to lock down the perimeter. Know that you'll be giving up the middle if they do choose to go LI or have high RB you'll be losing out there. If their SF doesn't score a lot from the outside, M2M is fine, but 3-2 is known as the kinda OP defense.
I had a game this season against the other undefeated team in my league and knew his tactics so I GCP'd and used 3-2 cause I was confident he was gonna go that route. High-risk high reward, I knew without a double guess and 3-2 I wouldn't win cause his salaries and DMI surpassed mine. If you are close in DMI and salaries, don't play risky, just play smart.
