I am sure this is not a true "bug", as much as it is a part of the decision to dissuade day trading.

The spirit behind a players DMI and Game Shape dropping behind a newly purchased player is to allow for the adjustment of the player going to a new team...however, it doesn't make sense to see that same drop when the team who owns the player chooses to bid on the player and keep him. At that point, there would be no adjustment, or chemistry issue...unless of course the poor guy got his feelings hurt being offered for transfer :-)

I believe the true intent of this drop in gameshape is another deterrent for day traders but the 'realness' factor of a drop in game shape due to new surroundings is plausible but in that case it should also be plausible to have an increase in gameshape due to new surroundings e.g. James harden to houston (more minutes, more opportunity, change from 6th man to key player).

I agree there should be no penalty in gameshape if you buy your own player but I feel the argument against it would be to be more careful on your pricing of sale players and avoid bidding on your players.

Well, it makes sense that the player that didn't move doesn't get the GS drop. I've changed that now but, of course, it can't be done retroactively. At least from now it will be implemented.

Cool deal, thanks Marin!
