Last Saturday was very frustrating. Down early, kept battling back but opponent would stretch back out. For 2.5 periods down 1-8 pts. Finally the worm turns, we build a little lead and keep holding the opponent at bay. Extend the lead to 71-62 with around three minutes left, I am figuring a combo of a stop and a score points the way to the winners circle. Yet we cannot get either. Eventually surrender the lead with about :20 to play, fouling on a long two for a And1 and we brick on the opportunity to take it to OT. Opponent hits one FT to put it away, we use a full TO (a logic flaw which aggravates me to no end), and we hit the close but no cigar three ball at the horn. Bad loss....puts us two full games outside the playoff picture.
