Hi there,
I began playing BB a month ago. I am training the backcourt, specifically point-guards. I am currently willing to train only 3 players because one of them is a good U-20 prospect. While two of the trainees are already established, I am undecided about the third. May I ask you help about this? Which among the following 3 players would you most likely train?

Baltramiejus Kalasunas

Džoni Mehle

Chittiraguptan Asha

I have been advised by the U-20 NT staff to train 1vs1 before the end of the season. I am wondering, how does this training work? Considering that it trains both guards, do I need to have 6 trainees?

Many thanks for your help,
Cheers,
A.

You don’t need to have 6 trainees, 1v1F is two position training which allows you to train the max of 6 players. 1v1F is the recommended training to start your players off with because it sets up the elastic effect. HA makes OD train fast which is a recommended skill for Guards & Small Forwards to have. 1v1F trains HA/DR and JS/IS even though JS/IS don’t give you the same amount as HA/DR.

While not needed to have 6 trainees, I would advise it. Especially in lower divisions where wins/losses for your first few years of training really don't matter. Grab a few young guys who need 1v1 training from the TL for under 10k and train them with your other trainees after your main ones have finished for the week. They'd probably even fall under your weekly floor too. Then whenever you are done with probably ~10 weeks of 1v1, sell the trainees you won't be able to train and keep the rest. Then you aren't wasting training spots. I would also grab a lvl 4 trainer to start. Before spending a lot of money be sure to understand the economy. Understand how much each level of trainer goes for before shelling out a lot of money for one or getting one at too high weekly salary.
