In my opinion New teams shouldn´t vote in Nt elections, i think that measure should put away the guys that want to win the election using their friends only to vote.

So my suggestion is that in the last month before and after the election the new teams shouldn´t vote!

in this case a cheater would let join their friend earlier then this deadline, and really intrested newbies can't vote ...

I think everyteam should have a voice, and i'm pretty sure that must votes are running fair.

i understand what you are saying...but a newbie with a few days of BB don´t have enought knowledge to make is own team...why should he pick the NT coach?

Is not that important for him!

My suggestion is only for prevent a fair election...

Also some "oldies" got not enough enough knowledge, but a newbie who follow the NT diskussion + read the rules could have enough knowledge to elect.

Why shouldn't he/she?

They have a team just like anyone else.

Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I think that the most important thing to know is whether results (especially in small nations) are checked afterwards.

Just take a quick look at small nations elections forums, they are full of "I want to be your NC" posts, and that is fine because the "local managers" will evaluate them and see who is a good manager or not.

What on the contrary would not be fine is that someone wins the election with 1 vote (remember he cannot vote if he runs in another country) and an examination of the voter's IP reveals that the team was created in the country of the candidate and not of the country, and 5-6 days before the election...

Of course - we're not blind or anything.

But being excluded solely by dint of being new is just not realistic.

That´s not the point. Off course everyone as the same rights!
I don´t discuss that point of view...what i´m trying to say is that we could prevent someone to take advantage in the elections using a rule of that kind...it could be another rule..if you want!

I think the problem exist...and we could prevent it...thats all

If you don´t think thats important...it´s ok...i think it is an important issue....because someone will take advantage.. and we will have more free agents in the future!

There are other ways of preventing the kind of scenario you described.

Disenfranchising voters is not one of them.
