seem to be experiencing some brutal skill drops in recent weeks. 33yo SG JS 20->16 in two weeks the lowlight. (bizarrely he popped in OS this week)

anyone else noticing anything?

I bought a player (34) last offseason. He dropped 3 OD in 2 weeks which despite his 127 TSP meant he couldn't defend at the top level at any position so I got rid again ASAP :(
Sometimes you get lucky and a player barely drops at all, but if it's a key skill like that it's pretty brutal.

Age drops are simply without any sense. I don't like their structure at all.

It's ridicoulous you could have players almost without drops in primary skills until 36, and then see multiple -2 in a 33y with a specialist. It makes no sense, it's ok to have a certain "random" in their drops, but it couldn't be that different. A more homogeneous system would be extremely more fair than this lottery

At the same time it is a lottery. And things like that happens in real life. Take the case of Chris Bosh having to retire abruptly.

Well, we are not talking about career ending injuries. We all know that BB isn't exactly simulating every aspects as it happen in basketball. It's more like creating equal opportunities to managers. I'm totally good with the fact that according to fate, you should see more unlucky drops on some players than others, but I do believe the span here is way too large

I don't see this as a good point. Otherwise we should expect also to see career ending injuries like Brandon Roy, just in early 20' because "happens in real life"

I had similar case this season...
former Spanish PF (34y old), dropped from 18 to 14 IS in 3 trainings, despite having career extension coach... and like you said, he had bizzare pop in JR (outside shot)...

skill drops are very annoying... you need 10-12 seasons to train NT player, and when he turns 33, few unlucky weeks, and he's no more an NT caliber player...

I'm noticing that the first drop is usually a double drop, anyone else noticed the same pattern?
