The generals "30th" anniversary season hopefully will be a memorable one! And who do we get added to the mix but my old friend coachfillmore who brings The Brewskies to the party!

This season will even include playing on my birthday (February 12th) though interestingly enough it will be a visit to long time rival Deronimo on that evening.

Of course that has been a long and storied fixture in these parts as combined we have spent now 40 seasons in this league. But as crocodile Dundee might say in this instance
...that's not a rivalry....this is a rivalry. Filmore and I have been butting heads (and occasionally elbows) across many a platform, though not for many a year, I scrimmaged him a couple of times his first season here but aside from the occasional game of Madden we haven't really battled since probably 2002 or so. But from the mid 80's until the mid 90's we went after it in many types of contests. From the old atari rollerball x&O's football game in the arcade, to gridiron fight, in intellivision super pro hoops ( my all time favorite basketball game) madden, various nba and college hoops games, and even a lot of one on one games at various parks we have seen it all. Let's put it this way, he is the Ricky Steamboat to my Ric Flair so it's gonna be fun having him around, hopefully for a good long time. I am very interested to see what the rivalry matchups will be.

Btw- our new man has a very unique distinction, he joined the very last year there was a human d5, so in many ways he is the proverbial last of the Mohicans. I hope you will give him a fine slaughterhouse welcome, I know one thing, the bunnies will be rolling out the welcome wagon on Saturday night

This is a league of grizzled old vets. Counting the upcoming season the members of the slaughterhouse have a combined 447 seasons worth of aggregate experience. Which means the average league member has been here 27.9 seasons.

We have three teams who have been around 40 seasons or more
five thirty seasons or more

two 20 or more

and six 10 or more


and this just reflects the various players current incarnations, round 2 i know used to have a team way back and Im sure there are others here who are not on their first team.

I had a team from season 11 to 19. My son (same name but the third) made a team they thought I was double dipping - cancel both teams and I had to start over. Few seasons later Utopia duhhh

Your opening shows a box being emptied as each piece of the puzzle shows the name of a team with a quick cut to that team in action.

After the injury to my key player last season i was ready to tank this season. Then i realize there’s no coachlambini in other leagues. So, i’ll stay and hoping to kick some...but first had to buy new starters or backups.

For the first time in the 15 seasons I have been here this league finally gets a six figure a week TV deal. Usually it's been between 95-98.
