Is there any reason, why there are no predictions contest for the basketball world cup. I remember that, when the WC in football was a few years ago, BB organized something like that, it shows that, it is possible. Maybe BB's can use those scripts. IMO the lack of this option is a mistake, especially for the basketball community.

And yes, I could post it on the sugestion forum, but I wanted as many people as possible to notice this case, because there is still some time to organize it.

Jokes aside, despite lack of official BB prediction contest, there are options of doing it anyway:
1) we can do it on non-BB forums (88034.1) - while they're really, really dead, it would be the best place to do it
2) as GMs, maybe we can discuss making such topic on BB forums

I would like to have such contest as well as you, so I'll try to look for possibilities to do it ;)

Okay, here's the update about World Cup and prediction contest.

After the discussion with other GMs, we decided to create a topic for the tournament (including prediction contest) on non-BB forums here (301194.1) We understand that this forum it's not as popular as other forum folders - that's why we'll link that topic on most popular national forums.
