Just wanted to say whazzup to everyone in the L.

A special whazzup to the 87ers, who have literally out-foxed me for every bookmark I've had this past week LOL. Kudos to you -- got some great potential there.

Good luck to everyone this season and look forward to seeing you on the court with my ragtag group of old farts.

Peace

Sorry about that!

I saw that your team name pop up during the bidding for some players but I didn't put 2 and 2 together that we were in the same division this year until now.

I was in a position where I had trained Jones (139), Sawyer (124) and Addison (117) as far as I could take them. My two bigs are getting up there in age now so it made sense to move on to training a new generation of inside players. Guess we both had the same idea!

Just hoping that none of them turn out to be foul-prone (especially Drake and Garvin). That'll tick me off a bit.

Not sure how competitive I will be this season. Focusing on training and I have zero depth behind my top 5 players.

I was just joking, big dawg -- you do have some really good potential there and it'll pay off in a couple seasons -- whether you sell or keep.

Only thing that I think is a concern is actually getting enough minutes for 6 guys. I'm gonna be watching and taking notes on how you manage that -- I've only ever had the skill to do 4 or 5 and always get them at 48+.

I've found that running some kind of zone helps keep crappier defenders from fouling too much.

Good luck man! No worries!!

Thanks bro -- see you at my house on Tues. I really like your starting 5. You're my rival this season -- so I am def gonna try and win this. Good luck to you as well. I got the Crowd Involvement dude, sorry if my fans throw shit from the cheap seats and spit beers on you in the tunnel. They're an excitable bunch, hopefully we can muster more than 67% of our capacity for this one -- sheesh, my 1st home game was a disaster.

It's all good.

I've found it pretty easy to get 6 players at 48 minutes during the 1v1F phase, provided they aren't foul-prone.

It is much harder to train that many players once you move onto specific skills (ID/SB/IS, etc.). I ran an experiment with my Utopia team where I trained OD and Passing using 2-position training instead of 1-position. It worked in creating a deeper team 1 through 9. However, the training speed really slowed down once the elastic effect wore off and the final player builds were not where I had hoped they would end up.

I do have one sacreficial lamb (Hayes) who will be dropped if I need an extra training slot to get one of the higher potential players up to 48 minutes.

I ran a 3-2 zone as my base D all the way from III.8 to NBBA and it certainly helped keep the fouls down for fully developed players. I haven't had as much success using it with undeveloped players though. I might abandon it this next run though if I decided to build bigs with more ID/REB and lower SB.

One thing I have noticed is that I have a lot more enthusiasm for the game now that I am back in a training/rebuilding cycle with my main team.

Superior level trainer and youth trainer. Gym and Training Court are maxed out as well.

Got 13 pops over 5 players in this morning's training update.

One pop was in FT. One pop was in SB. One pop was in REB. The other 10 were the usual 1v1F pops (JS, HN, DR, IS). I'd say .most of the pops were due to the Superior level trainers than because of the facilities this week.
