I discovered something interesting this week about the calculation of spectators. I had a match at home on Friday (PL) and Saturday (League) and accurate the same amount of spectators (nothing was sold out).

10.05.2008 4295100 12000 1941 545 33 14519
09.05.2008 4240018 12000 1941 545 33 14519

I checked some other teams with PL + league-game at home with same conclusion.

What's that supposed to mean?

Either the other team doesn't have any impact or the impact of the other team is restricted to their fan mood. Fan mood seems to be probable, because I hadn't this discovery last season and we had the reset at the begin of the season.

What's quiet interesting too, the league-level seems to be irrelevant also. I checked some teams from league I which played in the PL against league IV with same effect.

Other conclusions? Nothing new and I'm supposed to be the last to know? ;-)

That's probably just for this week, with the new season starting, and everyone 0-0 in their league.

I think you'll find a difference from here on out.

I know, but like described that's an indication just the fan mood of the other team affects your spectators (neither league-level nor the fan-count) and naturally you can't prove this later in the season.

Do you have another opinion/idea about the calculation?

As far as STH goes, I don't think the opponent's STHs have anything to do with attendance at your arena, only their current standing.

I'm not a supporter so I don't know anything about PL but it's just in arcade mode if I'm correct. I'd be thinking that means that the PL game attendance might just always be the same as the league game attendance.

I have no idea though...

It's not, but PL games don't give any revenue.

As an aside, and forgive my ignorance, but do PL games count for training? I'm a new supporter and accepted a PL invite.

no, they're just like arcade games.
