Needs fixed. An auction shouldn’t go 30 minutes past it’s original end just because one user continues to bid in the final 10 seconds.

Suggestion: lower the time from 3 minutes to 2 minutes. Make a max number of bids you can post on a player. Literally do anything to end this crap.

The solution to this problem would be not letting any new bidders when there is 3 minutes left for the transfer. Lets say there are 5 bidders before there is 3 minutes remaining for the transfer, only those 5 manager can start the bid war. This way bid wars would be shortened a bit and you wont lose a player after you bidded for 30 minutes and some other bidder comes and pays an astronomical price.

I really like this idea, letting those with an established interest continue bidding.

I don't think people would miss out on 3 minutes of availability.

I don't know about putting a max number of bids. We can't control people from bidding it is a part of bidding itself. Final 10 sec. bid is kinda annoying. Specially when you are in a bidding war in the middle of the night.

Maybe this could help, lowering the timer as it the bidding extends from the original time.

min:sec
0:00s - 9:59 : 3 mins.
10:00 - 14:59 : 2 mins.
over 15mins. : 1 min. or 30 secs.

I cant find the post I already made months ago... about integrating the Monopoly Online game bidding system...
and heres my revision to it.. after probably 15 minutes of continuous bidding war... a bidding engine will intervene... giving everybody who are still interested on the player to post their Maximum bid capacity for that player for atleast 3 minute... after the submission and the alloted time for everyone expire the engine will start the automatic bidwar process just like this:
