Id like to hear someone with more knowledge of the match engine than me... but his starting SF, playing 48 min, is quite a trip... he should've been toast on any possession where he was the primary defender?

maybe it's the new engine blossoming into a new era of outside domination regardless of how better the inside game of the losing team is.

that said, your rival played at home with more enthusiasm. he had a monster PF. his PG, SG and C were very good too. true his SF sucked and played 48min.

bottom line, i'd be pissed too if i had lost, wouldn't call the result rigged, though

18 offensive rebounds, 10 more points on free throws, higher Assists to Turnover ratio, more steals, which all equaled 10 more shots than you got. Because of these additional shots, he hit more 3s, due to his outside orientated offense. If you get 10 more shots and 10 additional points against an inside oriented team, you are going to win most of the time. Your PG was outplayed, fouled out, and you had a rebounding issue. Plus he played normal to your tie. All of this, along with outside offenses being a little better this season, led to your loss. If you ran this same game, with the same conditions, 10 times, you would probably lose at least 7 out of the 10. That’s my guess. You may not like it, but based on what you see on paper, it’s pretty easy to see. His SF sucks, but he scored, and may have top notch stamina. He may not have any other stats at all, but we can’t see that info.
