I thought it could be nice to implement a rookie contract where the salary is fixed for 3 years after entering the league and then renegociated every 4 years, as opposed to what it is now, every year.

It would better stick to the reality and could be more tricky when buying players. End contract and expected salary should be clearly indicated.

yes you are right and it would be nice to play a game that is very realistic in real life indeed... although the developers are trying to make the game imitate the real world... it would be for the best to consider this game a different league with a different set of rules... which makes the game very unique... the issue with the current play by play viewer would be great if they fix that first... so that we can again watch or teams real time...
