Every time I go to the transfer list to see I cand find some hidden gem, I see tons of players with great skills and almost alwost always horrible stamina and free throws, so I wonder, how important are they?

Why drop a draftee with low potential but train an historical potential with skills of 1 or 2 in both stamina and free throws?
How is this supposed to work? Train them until 24, 25 years old developing main skills and then train only stamina and free throws?

Last week I saw a 37k C with atrocious stamina get owned by a 7k C late game. Their game shape was equal or the 7k one had lower game shape, didn't quite remember. I think the new game engine also looks to make stamina more of a factor, which might cause the difference to be bigger.

In terms of training, I'd say it might not affect much unless you're maxing out positions and have to play them for a full game. This season I've had players sub out less than a minute to go a few times, and all of them had very low stamina (pitiful and below). No injuries, 3 man lineup, no foul trouble, but they just got subbed out. It might have something to do with their stamina, and expect it to get worse with the new game engine.

As to why drop a draftee with low potential but train a historical potential with bad stamina and free throws? Well basically stamina can be trained from time to time and a high level nutritionist can apparently increase stamina, while FTs will fix themselves with a training court. But you can't increase a player's potential. So unless you plan to only train them for the U21 or just train them into a bench player, or else it isn't really worth it.

Thank you very much for your answer.

One more doubt, I don't get it clear after reading the manual.
Can player stamina raise naturally without training it specifically and have no buildings for it?

Usually no, unless you have a high level nutritionist apparently (I think it's only stated in the staff section of the game manual, you can't find it in the training section). That said I haven't seen mine increase yet (I got an exceptional nutritionist) so I'm not sure how high it has to be.

darn, I just picked up an exceptional nutritionist hoping for some pops. Guess I'll need to train stamina after all.

yeah you need stamina especially if you like fast paced tactics

Someone once told me I needed to face fear to get over it, and I thought well why not take a step further and cut my fear into little pieces then set my fear on fire then throw the hot ash of my fear into a lake and then poison the lake. Simple!
