Seems like almost every game I play this season teams are GUESSING at Tactics. I know that this is part of the functionality of this game, but it seems pretty weak to me. In my opinion, it shows a lack of faith in your team to beat your opponent straight up. Maybe I should join the movement, but playing straight up seems a little more challenging and a better test as to how my team and strategy stack up.

What does everyone else think? Based on all the guessing going on I have to believe that I'm alone in this thinking, but thought I'd throw it out there. Not much discussion in the league thread so thinking maybe we could fire everyone up!

Good luck.

HCA is a big part of the game, and GDP is a good equalizer...it discourages spamming the same tactic over and over...so it does encourage managers to diversify their strategy. If you can win straight up...thats a great way to do it...but I don't see any weakness in rolling the dice for an educated guess if a manager shows tendencies to only go inside for example.

Best of luck to you too.

Thanks for the feedback. Believe me, I do understand the rolling of the dice concept, but I'm just frustrated. Makes if harder to build a team a certain way and often get penalized by the guess for playing to your strengths.

I really do appreciate the feedback. Really curious on what others think about this. I'm trying to rebuild a little anyways so maybe I'll have to get in on the guessing game too!

Thanks again and good luck to you as well.

A good way to be unpredictable and still play to strengths is this...here's an example of how I do it.

You just sprinkle in PTB, BO, or II to your steady diet of LI or LP. One guess won't kill you. Switch it up...then don't...once you establish that you switch do the same thing 3x in a row...then start switching again.

It's easy to be unpredictable but still play to an inside strength. If you are an outside team do the same thing only with Motion and RNG.
