Yes, despite the start of season hype surrounding the outside shooting boost, defence as a whole has become more dominant in the new GE. Three point shots did receive the boost that was promised, but they still aren't as effective as in real life. Meanwhile, two point shots have cratered;

Average points in a season 51 ABBL game: 180.92
Average points in a season 52 ABBL game: 168.43

Both seasons have been reasonably competitive from top to bottom (at least until a team went bot). This problem appears to be even worse in the B3, especially in my games where I've gone 0-5 despite only giving up 71 points per contest.

Considering how high scoring the modern game has become, I find it surprising that BB has continued to evolve in the opposite direction, especially since the old GE was already at 03'-04' era NBA in regards to how smothered offences were. I'm not sure why the BB's decided to seemingly nerf the inside game so much rather than just buff outside shooting even more. That is assuming this was even an intended side effect of the GE change.

Something I'd like to do once this season is nearly over, is run BB Game Analyzer to compare the B3 final 32 from last season to this season. That would help us narrow down exactly where offence has been nerfed. But I don't have a copy of that program anymore and all the old download links are broken, so I'd greatly appreciate it if someone can reshare it.

I can send you a link, but how are you using it? I thought it only worked on very old Excel versions.

Won't know until I try. If I can't get it to work, so be it, but either way I appreciate that you were able to send me a copy of the program.
