But that means that other team, that also planned the season for years, will get that title. I like some degree of randomness.
There are already too many economic rules in the game. We don't need even more rules. We are not professional accountants. It could be the possibility of paying insurance in prevention for injuries, but that would add an unnecesary complication.
The GS rule you propose is just unnatural.
And another reason against, we want bigger rosters. You suggestion would go the opposite direction.
