Hi there, I'm new here. Just wanted to ask, before scouting we have 48 players in the roster. All of which were assigned a gray ball and a corresponding number (eg. 5 gray balls, 4 gray balls, etc.). Since my scouting points are limited I chose the "Group Demonstration". To my surprise, the players 31-48 (those who originally have 1 or 2 gray balls) were the ones who now had orange balls. Some of them have 5 orange balls while some 3 or even 2 orange balls.

My questions are:

1. What do the gray balls indicate?
2. What do the orange balls indicate? 5 orange ball means MYP potential and up? While 4 orange balls mean Allstar to Superstar?
3. For my draft order, do I pick based on what position my team needs or based on who seems to be the best prospect?
4. Are the boxscore enough basis to see potential and or skill set? Or maybe he just happened to be lucky on that game because he wasn't guarded well?
5. What type of scouting would you go for? Interview? Cut Inside? Scouting Combine?

Any other tips would help a lot. Thank you so much and all the best everyone! :)

You can watch this great Drafting and Scouting Guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trpUVy9km0c
or Play with this Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S9E_SyVTixcBlU_SQf...

what Tip I can give you is... 5 Ball Star Rating with 2 Ball Potential is Trash compare to 2 Ball Star Rating with 5 Ball Potential.
