Hi Guys,

i have a side who is just okay in Div II, i cant see with only 33k profit each week how i can improve my side to the required level to get out of this division. It just seems like i will tread water and either get passed by teams or just keep my head above the depths of relegation, which then means a fire sale and you have to start again which nobody wants.

Im looking for some help if possible on what to do and what players to keep, what to move on etc and how i can improve and get out of the rut of the last few seasons.

thanks for saying all that, i have a few questions still, are you saying my players are on good wages for? My staff salaries are Doctor 2k Trainer 54k and pr manager 8k. My arena has way to many bleachers but a problem with the game is i cant change that. its frustrating that a mistake gets punished forever. I have a training court level 1, Merchandise store level 1 and a TV and radio station level 1. i changed my weekly drafting from 10k to 0 after this post to get my wages allowed up to 44k.

What is the way forward, i just feel my team is 2 players off which is about 150k in wages from getting close to competing for promotion.

Your coach is quite expensive, what level?
You so not have any trainees aiming for the U21/NT … so level 4/5 is enough.

You should think about entrance fees.
It is very hard to have more than 21k spectators and economically it is a desaster.
I. e. you have about 18k bleachers sold for 5 = 90k.
Raise the price to about 9-11, you should sell about 13k-15k easily = 135-150k … you have to work this out with your PR-Guy 😉

My arena is misbuilt too 🙄

Promotion is hard! There are little things that can screw the whole season: injuries! The time you really want to go for a deep PO-run, I strongly recommend to replace your Doc. to level 4 (or at least 3) with tapes-specialty.

54k for superior is too much, you should think about it.

Hey Fisher, I made the same mistake as you when I was building my arena, pumped WAY too much into it before I realised the most tickets I can sell is about 23k (play off against a good team - typically less than that). I feel your pain. For me carrying a NT player makes it hard to balance my roster enough to seriously compete for an ABBL spot, but your side is tracking along ok I think. Just keep saving bit by bit and be smart about what you spend it on until you're ready to compete. The earlier advice is pretty good, definitely take that on.

Since your league-colleague has a similar pricing (and size of his arena as well), you should be confident.

Somehow your fans might be a little bit irritated ... so give them a couple of games.

I just want to reiterate the advice to switch your trainer to level 4 with much cheaper salary. You can get them for very little money, it will almost double your current profit and the training speed on your trainees might not be that noticeable.

I personally switch aorund between lvl 4, 5 and 6 trainers depending on in what stage of trainees I am. Young future NT players I'm willing to go for a 6. But in other stages if my trainees are 22+ years old I downgraded to level 5 or 4.

Crunchy! If you eat fast enough
