I would greatly appreciate a definitive answer on whether the hidden aggression attribute is purely negative or it does indeed somehow boost defensive performance? No numbers/formulas needed, just a simple yes or no (by a GM/BB hopefully).

Thanks in advance!

In my experience, aggressive players shoot more on offense and generate more free throw attempts for themselves. They also generate more steals/blocks than they would if they were less aggressive from what I've seen.

Overall I would say yes, aggressive players have both positive and negative aspects. Problem is one of the biggest aspects of BB is training, and it can be highly frustrating to train players who foul out frequently.

I think you are 100% right. There used to be a couple of really foul prone players on the USA NT when they were 26-28 and then as they got to be 31-33 they didn’t foul nearly as much.

Agree with the #3 and #4 messagges, but I'm still having trouble with one of my best players' agressiveness.
He is 31 years old and he is NT from long time ago, his experience is now in level 18, I think it's very high but is not solving the problem. Maybe he is fouling-out less than before, but far away of a solution.
What do you think about him?

Not sure what his skill set is, but it looks like he fouls much less at the center position and fouls a lot more when ran the forward positions. Since season 50 when you play him at Center he has only fouled out of 3/29 games (only counting games with 26+ minutes played unless he fouls out before reaching that mark).

That means he is only fouling out of about 10% of games at that position. Not sure how that compares to his foul problems at SF/PF but at a quick glance it looks like he fouls less there.
