Desafortunadamente no hablo mucho español.

(Thank you to Orsio for the translation)

Hello. My name is BB-Mike, and I am one of BuzzerBeater's developers. I am hoping to become involved in the Argentina forums, and to act as a liaison between the BB staff and the Argentine community. I have created this sticky thread as a starting point. Unfortunately, I do not speak very much Spanish. I know that many people in Argentina speak English very well; I would appreciate it very much if these people could help out by translating posts back and forth.
I am happy to talk about any aspect of the game, and to answer questions. I intend to read this thread regularly. To start things off, I would like to ask you about three things:

1. Are there any issues specific to Argentina that I should know about? Are there any bugs in the español/sudamericano localization? Is there any portion of the site that is not translated? How's the national team doing?

2. We believe that the game is more fun for everybody when there are more people involved. Does anyone have any ideas about ways that we could help BuzzerBeater grow in Argentina? For example, just last week, one of our users helped us to set up a banner exchange program with a popular sports discussion board in Lithuania; as a result, more than 500 new users have already signed up!

3. In some countries, we have received complaints about the banner ads shown at the top of the site. These ads are provided by a banner ad network, and in most countries it is very difficult to control whether the ads that are shown are appropriate for our audience. If anybody knows of a company that wants to advertise on BuzzerBeater, we'll gladly pay you a commission for anybody you find that can help us serve better and more targeted banner ads.

I look forward to hearing from all of you. I hope that we will be able to work together to strengthen and grow the Argentine community here on BuzzerBeater. And again, Spanish and English posts are both welcome in this thread.

Hey! Thanks for coming and be willing to answer our questions! Im very pleased for this and I really appreciate it.

Here in Argentina as you probably already know, soccer is the most common sport, so having a banner at Hattrick can really help a lot in terms of making new BB users. I came to this game that way and right now I spend more time at BB than in HT. Maybe putting back the banner or advertisement at HT can really help.

Hi and wellcome to this forum.

Is there any portion of the site that is not translated?

Well, there is a bug with the potencial list translation. I use the US language because i can handle it and because i read a lot the English BB Global (There are so many things about another´s users experience...). So i can see potencial list, asociated with the lvl numbers, but when i select Español sudamericano as language the potencial list is missing. I hope i made my self clear.

So, "saludos" that is a polite way to finish the message.

Yes, quite a number of our users are also Hattrick players. We have a partnership with HT, and our site has a permanent place on their partners page (in the community section). If you enjoy BuzzerBeater, then by all means tell your friends and countrymen that our game is a lot of fun to play along with Hattrick.

Also, if you can think of any other sites that might have Argentinian users who would be interested in playing BuzzerBeater, let me know. They do not necessarily need to be sports computer game sites; Some of our best exposure has come from sites dedicated to real life sports.

Yeah, you´re right, and a few sites that come to my mind are journals and sport journals, very famous here in Argentina, but maybe a bit hard to get your advertisements put on... In any case, a few that I suggest you to look into are:

www.clarin.com

www.ole.clarin.com

the already famous photo-log page between teenagers:

www.fotolog.com

A local journal of my city:

www.lacapital.com.ar

the following is the official site of the TNA tournament here in Argentina:

http://www.a-d-c.com.ar

Ill let you know if some other comes to my mind....

Hi Mike!!!, I am El Bichi and the moderator of this forum, welcome to the forum.
Mike, there is any way to change the mode to pay supporter?, because is more difficult in this country.
In this country there is a shape very easy, the name is pay easy(Pago Facil), but is not authorized by BuzzerBeater.

Thanks.

Hi Mike!!!, I am El Bichi and the moderator of this forum, welcome to the forum.
Mike, there is any chance to change the way we pay the supporter?, Its really hard for us like the way it is right now.
In this country there is an easy way for us called PAGO FACIL (easy pay), but its not authorized by BuzzerBeater.

Thanks!
