Well Well!

Nothing like a good ole’ ass kicking to start off D2! Thank you to the Allied Gunmen for the initiation beat down!

Hopefully we can have a fun little season here and most of you guys don’t beat me as badly. I don’t want to be in d3 again!

Screw it, a free upvote on anyone’s forum post if they give me a win!

Welcome to the league to all the newcomers!

Last season was my first in DII in a while too and it was incredibly refreshing how competitive things are and how much more thought you must put into the smaller decisions.

What's not as refreshing is just how much people are paying for their salaries this season! Last season I thought I could basically juggernaut my way through by spending more than everybody else. Well, not only has my payroll increased due to training, but I'm no longer the highest spending team!

Tucumcari Whalers, Arizona Cacti, and The Coolness Factor are amongst the highest spending teams with me. It'll be interesting to see how sustainable this is.

Thank you for the warm welcome. The league is super competitive so far and looks like there won’t be any off nights from what I see so far. Best of luck all.

Maybe I'm overreacting but I feel like my game last night with Diorite Pistons must have been one of the highest scoring games I've experienced. Final score was 137-124.

I feel like some times I struggle to score 137 points against a bot team to begin with, but to have the other team be so high scoring too is kind of crazy

Well the Big 8 got off to a great start in the inter conference battle, taking all but two games on the night for a 6-2 lead.

I’m trying my best and did the majority of a roster haul, but it certainly is not easy up here in d2 that is for sure. At the very least I improved on my 0-3 start.

137-124 is pretty high scoring from what I’ve seen this season, must just be one of those fluke games!

Good Luck to everyone for the rest of the season, unless you’re playing me! And go Great 8!

It'll be very very interesting to me to see how the Big 8 stacks up against the Great 8 by the end of these interconference portion of the season.

I assumed at the beginning of the season that we'd wipe the floor with the Big 8 because last season we had, overall, better records and the best of the Big 8 promoted to DI.

Guess it's true what they say about assumptions (whew)
