Hello, don't know if it is a bug or what but on my last league game my PF was put as a titular, reserve and substitute. I put also follow my orders and keep in game if he has fouls. Never had any problem prior to this game with minutes for my trainees but in this game my PF got substitute with a player who was not even selected as anything at the end of the third quarter and my trainee doesn't come back into the court for all the 4th quarter making him play only 35 minutes total.
So, what happened there? Was it for the big difference on points of the game?(even if the other trainee played his full 48 minutes as SF with the same setup of the other) I hope you understand my question, i'm not very good at english. I leave a screenshot of the setup of the line-up i used.

Its called the garbage time. When you are winning for a huge difference, sometimes the Game Engine does this kind of substitucions.

Most of the time you can prevent this, leaving the starting spot blank and set your trainee as substitution and reserve.

But pay attention, using this "feature" will result in loosing 36 minutes of training in a "walk over".

To make it more genius:
- only 9 players on the gane-roster for one-position-training, 8 for two-position-training.
- (strictly) follow depth chart
- max. two positions blank
- let them play

Personally, I don't ever blank a position and I generally don't have the problem with substitutions during garbage time of blowouts either.

But I do have to make sure that
1. I never dress more than 2 players per non-training position (so if I'm training 1 position that needs a full 48, I can only dress 9 players total)
2. I set my trainee at Starter + Backup + Reserve for the training position
3. The trainee has at least some stamina - I've had very rare occurrences where a 1-2 stamina player still gets subbed out very late in a blowout, but so far even in those cases he at least attains 44 minutes before going out.
4. I use “Follow Depth Chart” and “Let Them Play”

Not necessarily a perfect solution, but at least doesn't leave me at risk of an unexpected walkover destroying my training.

My typical roster lineup looks something like:
PG - Starter / Good Guard Reserve / Bad Guard Reserve
SG - Starter / Good Guard Reserve / Bad Guard Reserve
SF - Starter / SF Backup / SF Backup
PF - Starter / PF Backup / PF Backup
C - Trainee / Trainee / Trainee
