The first quarter is just underway but this guy's (51503861) page says he's injured 9-17 weeks while also saying that injuries can't be shown during matches. He hasn't gotten injured in the match yet, but did he get injured in the simulations?

Yes. Days not weeks ;)
If you use BB manager and update your team at the begining of the game you can see any potential injuries happening in the game.

Injuries are being reset once new season hits.
