I don't know if this has been suggested before, but this suggestion would make a lot of sense because it happens all the time in real basketball when teams play their not fully recovered players. The system could look like this: 1. Your team could play your injured player with less than 5 days left for him to fully recover 2. Injured players are now marked in red on their name, these not fully fit injured players would have a yellow mark on their name to make it easier to identify them when selecting a roster. 3. There can be a calculated or random probability of how good that player will be in a match, for example, sometimes they could only give 30-40% of their potential, and sometimes as much as 70-80%. In that case, it would be a nice headache to guess how you would use your not fully recovered player, play him early, on the bench, or pass the oportunity and don't play him at all.

If things would be done realistically then if you play not fully recovered player that has 1-4 days left to be fully recovered and he gets injured again during the match then system could add lets say 3-5 days to the existing injury. I think many managers would still take the risk and play their star players during important matches or playoffs just like in real life.

And different injuries can affect different skills.
For example hand injury can affect dribbling, passing and scoring skills. Leg injury can affect driving, stamina and defence etc.

This implementation would make injuries a less disgusting issue. Thumbs up.
