I've read the rules and while the focus aspect of tactics is quite easy to grasp, pace still eludes me. Right now, I'm choosing between Look Inside an Low Post and frankly I don't understand how can I make an informed decision.
So higher pace means more possessions, which should translate into less influence of random factors, and a better team will benefit from it, correct? Also, the rules say about a trade-off between quality shots and more clock violations. It seems a no-brainer to me that the former - and therefore slower pace - is much more beneficial (unless clock violation happens really a lot in BB). The pace aspect of defensive tactics is even more baffling.
So does anyone have any idea in which case should I choose higher and lower pace tactics, what should I look at when assessing my opponent or my own players?
