This may need to be reworked. Somehow, a player on the last place team won the MVP in my league, and the top scorer (with over 10 rebounds a game and one triple double to his credit) got 10th in the voting despite playing for the team with the best record (and eventual champion).

i am in the process of arguing with charles over this. I wholeheartly agree. He didn't take into account team record when doing the mvp. He also did do something that is most like most valuable player to his team. the truth is that MVP is a bit of a misnomer. What we really mean is Most Outstanding Player Whose Team Did Well. but MOPWTDW doesn't really roll off the tongue.
so please everyone make a stink so i can prove charles wrong. I love when that happens.

MVP voting for my division went pretty well. Everyone besides one player was from the top 4 teams.

Apparently the Canadian sportswriters aren't as well informed. 7 out of the top 10 were from non-playoff teams.

I think charles has simply overweighted the MOST in valuable player. He's overvaluing the fact that those players were head and shoulders above other players on that same team. Of course worse teams are going to have a larger gap between the best and the average players on the team.

The guy who won it in II.1 sucked ass. I think he averages 15ppg, and 5 rpg. Not close to most of the other top players in the series.
