Hey, all basketball and Buzzerbeater lovers!

I have a situation that has got out of hands. I just dont understand why is this happening and whats the point of traning.

I have previosly trained my Bigs for Inside Defense. Training was for C/PF 3 weeks in a row. No pop.
This week I selected ID training for C position being 100% sure that this time both guys will receive pop. i was wrong.

How it is possible to not have any pop for 4 weeks. Its ridiculous.
One guy is old, 29 y.o., have 15 ID - 49628657
The other guy - 24 y.o., have 17 ID - 51643071.

Have anyone had this bad training?
Hoping to get some replies and answers.

Best regards.

The 29yo guy trains at 12% training speed effecivity.
The 24yo 87k superstar might be capped. In Addition he trains at 52% effectivity.

Due to 3 two-position weeks at about 45% effektivity (instead of one position training at 100%) and only one week opt it is Quite normal.

isn't 2 position training a 65%-+ training? and 3 position training 50%-45%?

Uhhh … I was pretty sure because with 2 pos at 65% it would be possible to train more players „more effecive“, example:

3 players at 100% for 10 weeks = 30
6 players at 65% for 10 weeks = 39
9 players at 45% for 10 weeks = 40,5

Which would mean that the more players you train the more effective it is … so training would just take longer (which might be balanced by less effectiveness due to aging) and would throw everything out of the window I believed 🤷‍♂️

I had to think about it and did some research: Sounds that I was wrong and 65% for 2- instead of 1-position-training is correct.

In general it leads me to stay the way, that developing a team with more width does not balance loosing the higher level of less players (since mostly 8 players are enough) and starting all over the next generation of trainees earlier:

Training lasts about 50% longer (1/0,65), a player (pot. 8) caps age 21/22 if trained the „most“ effective way. Reducing effectivity results in capping at about 23/24, under consideration of aging effects about 2 more seasons later … not only for NT-candidates it doesnt make much sense to me.

How can a superstar potential be capped at a certain age not at a certain TSP. How come some superstar players reach almost 130 TSP, mine doesn't have 100 and he is capped?

Doesnt make any sense to me at all!

It's not by age, LA-flaterik123 is just saying if a player is trained in a standard way they will usually cap around that age.

TSP isn't a guide to capping because it depends on the skills breakdown. Salary is better, it's not an exact match but you can use it as a rough guide. You can also use the tool on BuzzerManager.

0 Announcer: < 6k
1 Bench warmer: < 8k
2 Role player: < 13k
3 6th man: 10-15k
4 Starter: 15-20k
5 Star: 20-30k
6 AllStar: 30-50k
7 Perennial allstar: 50-85k
8 Superstar: 80-120k
9 MVP: 100-200k
10 Hall of famer: 200k+
11 All time great: 300k+

Also your player isn't necessarily capped - it doesn't sound surprising to me that a 24y with 17 ID did not pop after 3-4 weeks of 2-position ID training. Training takes longer as the player gets older and as the level of skill gets higher.

In addition:

- there are 3 caps by Potential which will reduce the effectivity by 25, 50 and finally 75%
- the potential has sub-skill, i. e. from 8,01 to 8.99 … there is no big difference between 7,99 and 8,01

Mainly i was thinking about pot. 8 players I develop for the U21, if you train higher potential players, you have to train them until 27-29 to reach their cap which gets a little tough in the end due to aging effects, no more elastic effect …

I would say he is most definitely capped. Not because of the 87k salary, but because of the 17IS combined with the 87k salary. Remember, that is at the beginning of the year with 12 more weeks of training now. I don't think you can build a superstar PF on buzzer-manager with 17 IS and 87k salary that isn't 95%+ on the cap estimate.

I use 40% for 2pos training on IS and 60% for 1pos. 50% for 24 years old. and 110% for 206cm.

3 weeks of 2pos = .66
1 week of 1pos = .33
Total of .99 training

So I would say it is very, very likely he is at least soft cap if not more since he should have popped otherwise.
