Okay, if the team who's behind in the 4th quarter is smart enough to start fouling to stop the clock, why isn't the coach of the leading team smart enough to put players with good free throw skills on the court? why must the coach leave the atrocious free throw player in the game? This late game fouling is starting to bug me cause I lost couple of games because of that and there were many more that I came really close to losing even though I was up by 10+ in the last 3 minutes.
I know BB wants us to train FTs, but I already have 6 players with respectable + FT skill and they are always in my rotation but seems like the late game fouling does not trigger the appropriate substitutions.
btw, I always use 'follow depth chart until 4th', so it's the coach that's not doing the right job.

yea I agree with you that coach should pick better FT players according to the order (usage of depth chart etc) unless there is a huge amount of point difference in which coach plays only subs.

Another point about 4th quarter stuff is that (or end of quarter thing) is the usage of offense time. If you are playing a fast offensive tactic, nobody cares about holding the ball to kill time. For example, I can't understand my guys using the ball in 10 seconds when they could end the period and give a chance to opponents. I don't know if I am clear about this point but at least the "tempo" shouldn't matter at the end of quarter or during 4th quarter when there is a good lead. (especially when opponent is performing better in the 4th quarter, why give the ball away more?)
