I'm facing a team that is best at his outside scoring.
What is the defensive strategy for such teams?

I was thinking to set 3-2 Zone at defence.
For the PG, SG and SF probably I will have to chose the ones with the highest outside defence level, right?

i have an equal situation tonite...
i thought i'd go with 1-3-1, but i am not 100% sure yet

Yes. Though you might also want to make sure your C and PF have good ID since they have to carry more of the load inside.

If you have superior rebounding then you might be safe with 1-3-1 but if the rebounding is a bit iffy then i would go with a 3-2.
