I've been tailoring what I train each week based on who gets their 48 minutes. Considering it takes around 2 weeks to get an increase, is this a bad way to do it?

Example - last week, I screwed up (I forgot to set up my scrimmage) and ended up with only 3 out of 5 people getting their 48 minutes. Since those 3 people needed jump shot, and the other 2 didn't.. I trained jump shot. But only for that one week so I didn't get any pops.

This week, all 5 trainees got 48 minutes so I'm training ball handling, because they ALL really, really need better handling scores. I did train handling the week before the jump shot training, so I'm expecting to get a few pops this week.

Should I have stuck with jump shot until they got pops?

Understand that I know the training doesn't go away and that there are sub levels, etc.. but my point is, what if I don't get back to jump shot before it's time to sell someone, it will seem like it's wasted. How do you guys/girls do it?

I would do it like you ;)

And it's nearly impossible to train so, that everybody thats theri skillup in the same Week. So normally you train jUmpshot(even with 5 guys), 2 will get better and 3 not ;)

So you was everytime in the dilemna that you make training which wasn't visible for potential buyers.

and make sure those players in training positions get enough game time.

Well yea, but mistakes happen. So I'm trying to figure out the best way to proceed with mistakes.

as i change my training nearly every week, i have to admit you will get your pops a bit later but the subskill is there anyway so overall you get better players coz they multiskilled. just to do one training-type is not so good for my opinion.

Just train 4 guys, 3 of those again in your situation, in JS when the season has ended. Between the seasons you cant train 6 guys ;)

it is not wasted at all. All the while they play for your team, they play with increased skill, even though it was not a full level, so you can't physically see it, they are a little better now.
Once you sell ofcourse thy might get you some money more should it be visible.
A tip here though: since jump shot is good for any player, you can always get a few more weeks on jumpshot when you want to sell the player, then sell him when he pops. You other players will end up being better too. ;)
