How effective is the 1-3-1 zone?

Assuming my opponents outside scoring is 4 full levels above his inside scoring - is 1-3-1 the choice over 3-2?

How much rebounding will it cost me?

I'd strongly considder it yes.

How much rebounding will it cost me?

no clue about that, but if he makes a lot of baskets, you don't need much rebounding now do you? ;)

no clue about that, but if he makes a lot of baskets, you don't need much rebounding now do you? ;)

If he misses a lot of shots, then there would be a lot of rebounds to grab, no?

true, but for that to happen you must make sure your defense is causing him to miss the shots. ;)

i think it will cost a lot of rebounds, but even when he has superior rebounding he would get more then 50% of the misses Shots ;)

But i would play 1-3-1 only if you are sure your opponent playing with outside focus, or if he has the much better team and you need to hit its tactic perfekt to compete. normally the 3-2 Zone was better, because you aren't messed up when your opponent plays normal and even against look inside you could have some luck.
