1. It's fine that press annoucement could be as long as you wish, but i think it would be better if you read the full announcement on the team page :) You could implement if with a scrollbar

(34251) even when this was a bug, and you can not read the full annoucement with it.
2. You should see the neweset announcements on the standing page, just the topic with an link to the teams or the message page.
