I accidentally put a post in wrong forum and was kindly asked by a GM to repost here....

In the meantime I got an answer to my first question, so I now now there are no MODs , but GMs are taking this task as well. So that is a good thing.

The proposition I wanted to make, and which I should have put here, is this:

I believe it is important to have (at least 1) responsible for each of the country-forums. A GM who speaks the language(s) of that country.
This to prevent from certain treads to go on living, but are used for all kinds of stuff which is mostly rubbish.
As an example, and also the reason why I posted in the first place, is a tread started out in some foreign language in the Belgian forum. This tread is now used for stuff like "he folks come and have a look at my players I have for sale"
But quite possibly this will occur in other country forums as well...

Maybe BB staf could put up a forum where people can apply for which country they want to moderate the forum, and BB staf could pick 1 or 2 for each country to moderate that forum.
Or distribute the forums among the GMs they already have, so users know which GM to message when they spot something that should be looked at.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

This I think is the hope for the future of BB. At the moment the current GM staff have a lot of work in all of the countries. Especially now with the NT Elections we have handfuls of forums we have to look after.

Once we crunch through the rest of October I don't doubt we will be looking at getting staff in each country. The main thing is that a lot of countries don't have many (if any) users yet. We are expecting a large inflow of users so we will be able to pick some active people to be staff members.

As BB grows it will become a lot more localised for all of the players as there will be a lot more activity in National Forums rather than just in Global English

I agree with Lord of Doom

In the countries where there are LAs already assigned, we could certainly temprorarily help out by keeping an eye on the forums and suspicious transactions.
We would only need to know who to report to.

Is each of the GM's responsible for a few of the new countries or do you share duties as they come along?

Well at the moment because of elections the GMs are all assigned countries.

A few overlaps here and there.

For the main countries the GMs seem to pop up everywhere.
