After several discussions on different forums, it is still unclear how this skill actually works and thus I have no idea if it is worth training.

Can we get more details on how the game engine takes this skill into account ? Is it something like when a player is defending against an adversary, the higher the skill the higher the chance that the shoot gets blocked ? if yes could we get an estimate on how high this chance is for let's say someone with a respectable shot blocking skill ? :)
