Just curious, when drafting, say each team has placed $10 000 each week for the whole season. Will each teams scouts have found the same information? Or is the information they get random, and my 48th pick that shows nothing could be someone elses 1 pick choice that shows 5 star SG that has great potential?

The draft information is random in the sense you described. In addition, when the scouts of two teams have seen the same player, they have actually seen him in a different game. The game stats can therefore be very different.

The players are given random identities - so your Player #1 might be another teams Player #36, and another teams Player #17. The intent is preventing teams sharing information.

Each team also scouts at random. So with $10,000/week you should have 28 scouting reports. This could be a single report on 28 players or 2 reports on 14 players, or more likely something in between (for example, 2 reports on 7 players, and 1 report on an additional 14 players, and 27 totally unknown).
