This is my situation, I got the team only last June 26 and I set my scout to 4 players. Now I have four weeks of scouting 4 players so I'll have 16 scouted players at the maximum. I was just wandering if the bot do scouting? or if the previous player who owns my team was scouting will I get his scout reports also?

I inherited a 3-10 team and Im currently last in the division so I need all the draftee info I could get to improve my team for next season.

you start fresh, even with new players.

so no, you don`t get old scouting points.

However, there are some scouting points given to everyone at the end of the season regardless of how much they paid into scouting.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I also seem to remember that when I started out BB-Mark told that new teams would get some scouting info for free because they did not get the chance to scout during the season.

I'm not sure how much this is. But I think you can be confident that with the scouting you did, along with the free info, you will have enough to get some decent drafts.

I do wonder how you are able to spend so much money on scouting with a new team... some advice: just be carefull not to overspend your money while your team is still fresh.

I sold some of my old guys and made some really good profit. Also I was lucky to have a TV game so I have more than half a million sitting in the bank. Also new teams have 50K per week for the first 4 weeks which really helps a lot ;).

yes I know all of that, however winning is very important here in BB, and good players are expensive, so what I was saying is that a new team should not spend to much money on side-stuff, and concentrate on getting a solid team as fast as possible to ensure regular wins. When you have little trouble winning regularly you'll get some extra money you can spend on side-stuff.
i.m.o. if you sell players it should be to buy new and better ones, not to fund staff or scouting or anything like that.

It's just some advise which you can use however you see fit.

You can still get really good players.. you'll get probably the 2nd pick, same as I got and I ended up with an amazing player (my first choice).. and 2 others that were decent but not what I needed so I sold them and they covered all of my drafting fees plus made a tiny profit. And that was also after only a few weeks of scouting. (I think I had even less than 16 since I only scouted one at a time). So you can still do really well with the draft.

Yeah thats a sound advice though Im doing a Boston Celtics kind of approach hoping to land a KG ;).

And yes I did sold my old players (age 29-30) to buy young ones which I could train to be my starters next season and I already foresee a monster in one of them :O.

I'll have the second pick on the draft so Im very confident I could get someone I could use.

Im finished scouring the transfer list in the meantime though. The play offs is coming and not so many teams will be selling good players. Maybe I'll go hunting again in the beginning of next season.

Do we still receive draft results between now until the draft? I still set my scouting to four and I would love to have some more infos before draft day.
