Quick noob question: How long does the offseason last? I just finished a season yesterday and did not make the playoffs. How many weeks must I wait for the next season, and how soon is the draft? (I have the first pick)

The matches for next season will not tip off until 3 weeks from last night.

The draft order is ready and can be edited, but picks will not happen until the playoff finals are complete 2 weeks from tonight. Usually the draft is finalized the Monday evening/Tuesday morning after the finals are completed and the players will arrive on your team then.

wow, three weeks? i made the playoffs and have a good chance at going a couple of rounds, but that seems like a while to wait for those that do not make the playoffs.

2-3 weeks.

The playoffs are played Tuesday-Saturday, Tuesday-Saturday-(Sunday if necessary)

Teams that aren't in the playoffs or are eliminated won't have games on Tuesday. But they will automatically have a scrimmage scheduled for Saturday. So sometime this week you will have a scrimmage scheduled for Aug 2. IIRC, it will be against the 8th place team in the opposite conference.

So this training week you only have 2 games (Regular season 22 and the Thursday scrimmage). Next week you will have 2 games (Scheduled Saturday Scrimmage and the Thursday Scrimmage).

The end of the season is Sunday, August 10, when the 3rd game of the championship finals, if necessary, will be played. Then during the first part of the week teams will be moved to their new leagues, the draft will be announced, and nobody will play on Tuesday. So that will be your 3rd week of two games in a training week (Scheduled Saturday scrimmage and Thursday scrimmage).

The regular season starts on Saturday, August 16. That week will have 3 games, though the Thursday game will be the opening round of the cup, rather than a scrimmage.

So for these next 3 weeks, you might want to consider doing team training (stamina or FT), since you won't have as much chance for playing time for regular training.

If you don't make the playoffs (or relegation matches), I believe you are automatically assigned some scrimmages so you can keep your training up.
