Just curoius if there are probs with the MVP selection in the leagues? I know last season there was a prob and it seems the same sort of thing has happened again. As in my league i see 6 players from 2 teams in the top 10 MVP picks.

Nah im a bit lost by the way MVP is calculated. Bit disappointed by the way it panned out this season. And same with the allstar team in my league. In the allstar game we had players that were much stronger then the starters picked. I know thats passed but it feels that the same has happened with the MVP system.

MVP depends on player stats, minutes played, and the team record. So if you're not doing well, your best player has a smaller chance of becoming an MVP.

i think this seasons, the season standing goes into the calculations because our crowned champions got 5 guys into the mvp ranking without having great stastical leaders.

18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.5 steals looks great to me.

I finished topr of my league, runner up in the finals and had both the rank #2 and #3 players in the league but didnt have one player in the top lot for the MVP votes.

In my league, the top 9 are from 9 different teams. There were 3 teams with 2 players in the Top 12, but these 2nd player had a total of 4 5th place votes.

The MVP in my league, Tony Scott (782545) was apparently chosen due to his being the team leader on my 20-2 team, even though as a center he was not a Top 10 scorer or rebounder. Nonetheless, he received votes from 31 of 32 reporters (I suspect that it was a report for the rivals who withheld his vote).
