Just wanted to be the first to get anything in here. I've put my name in for the U21 Manager. Feel free to ask any questions or post comments that you may have for me with regards to Canada U21.

I think there are just 2 important characteristics I would like to see in the U21 manager.

1. Lots of free time. If you've looked into every possibility, you'll be well prepared no matter what.

2. Some experience. You don't have to be in I.1, but at least have played and made good improvements over 2+ seasons.

3. Active in the forums. Contributing your own two cents means you have read other people's thoughts and come up with a few of your own ideas too.

What can the candidates respond to these points?

Well, I meet some of your requirements. I have alot of free time to look over every possibility and I do so with my team right now. And even though I have not played for 2+ seasons, I have played 1 and a half and made a huge improvement, going from last place in my conference to first.
I would say I am active in the forums as well. I am especially interested in Training Analysis. Also, I like to hear what other people have to say about their training methods and game plans. It helps to create an even better strategy than the one originally thought of by me.
I hope this helps everyone to get to know me a little more.

To all potential U21 managers:

I want to know the following:

1) Describe a match where you beat a BB team that had better skilled players (on paper). How did you outwit the other manager?
2) What is your best accomplishment to date in BB?

To answer the 3 questions for me. Well...

#1, I don't have a lot of free time, but somehow I always seem to be on here for a couple hours everyday anyways. I guess I probably spend less time focusing on my real job and family than I should! Point being, I like the game and always try to find ways to improve and win!

#2, I've played 3 full seasons now, starting in division III, moving up to division II where I won the league, and then making the playoffs in my first season in division I. I've trained some strong players with 1 being a part of our national team (Letarte) and another who is the top center for the Malaysian national team.

#3, I am a little active in the forums. Usually reading alot more to try to pick up as much information as possible.

Hopefully that answers the questions well enough for you. :)

Last season in my relegation match. I believe the other team was better then me on paper however. In the last 2 games I switched over to Full court press which created about 10-15 more turn over's per game and I was able to beat him both of those games. He was out rebounding me so I found another way to get turn overs by using this method.

Not getting relegated last season I feel I beat a better team.

2 questions from thenewchuckd.

#1 - I can say that I have beaten the mighty BC Torooo. I think it was a bit of luck, but I did use some unpredictable tactics in the game that I don't think he expected. which allowed me to get off to a great start in I.1 It was the opener for season 5.

#2 - Best accomplishment to date, well very few can say they've beaten BC Torooo! But, I would say that finishing in the playoffs in my first season in the top division took alot of hard work and strategy to ensure that I placed 4th in the division. Long term goals ensured a fairly easy division II championship 2 seasons ago, so I hope that the long term vision I have will pay off with possibly getting to the top of division I and then I could say that is my best accomplishment.

Good answers so far. I feel like this race is going to be a close one. I'll have more questions once all the candidates have declared.
