Teams now have the option to write press announcements - The icon on the team page isn't the final version, before anyone asks :-)
The announcements are a bit different to the ones used in hattrick. They're longer for a start. That may change though. The major difference is that we've decided to experiment with PAs in a blog format as a tentative replacement for the guestbook/shoutbox system you may well know from other sites. We think it has potential for forming micro-communities around friends, rivals, leagues and any other connection to other users you may have. It's also a conscious move away from the rather more spam-orientated nature of other "quick-post" systems. We'll see how it gets on.
