Die Kupferchen
Hi,

i've got 2 suggestions to improve the game:

1.
New Rule:
Tactics: Defense: Doubling
This tactic has no inside or outside focus. The coach chooses one player of the opposing team in Front of a game as the best player. This player will be doubled during the whole game. For this reason the defense against this best player is much better, but as long the player is on the field the defense against the other four players is little less.

Motivation:
In my opinion this tactic is realistic and interesting for games against teams with one “super star”.

2.
New Rule:
Set order: More player
Every manager could select 15 player instead of 12 player for one game.

Motivation:
This modification would be allow to fill all places (Staring 5, Backups and Reserves) with different players.

What do you think about it?

Greetings,
General TickTack

I like the first one, although I think a box-and-one would be a better option. This is where four players play a tight zone defense and the best defender on the team plays man to man on the opposing team's superstar.

I don't see the point of the second change.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

The 2nd suggestion will not happen.

BB is played under NBA rules, and NBA rules call for 12 active players per game.

There's no real need to have every reserve spot filled anyways.

I have to put in my usual caveat that BB is played under NBA rules except when isn't. But it usually is.

There's no real need to have every reserve spot filled anyways.

Haven't the BB's said in the past that things like substitution behaviour (especially things like lucky fans playing when there are "real" players available) are more or less undefined if all 15 of the slots are not filled? I live by the opposite rule, anyway: "Always fill every reserve spot in all cases."

I'd be disappointed otherwise.

What I meant and didn't add was that every reserve spot doesn't need to be filled with different players

My bad.
