I’d like to share with you some concerns regarding new specialist:
First: I totally agree with Francy in his forum “Stop robbing managers”, I’m a new manager (first season) and I’m fighting to survive and I lose money every week, this new system for me and new teams means bankruptcy… thanks a lot for that!!!

Second: with the old system all senior mangers already had a level 10 trainer and they spent few money (just the weekly salary of old trainer) and now they had a level 5 trainer while if I want to hire a level 5 manager I’ve to spend at least 200k$… this means that strong teams became stronger and stronger and new teams cannot grow.
Was more correct if all the teams start with the same specialist level… unless this modification has been done exactly to support big team!!!

I think that prices will go down by the time after most hungriest teams will spend huge cash ballance, because they are hungry

I will wait like 1 month before. Could be good to have there transfer compartment like on players trading to know if I'm not overbidding massivelly

Anyway I would like to see that if you conquer with your club few times in a league very high, the cheaper buy of that staff, because he would like to come into club with any reputation.

There are mostly concerns about hard training, you have a lot of ways how to develop a player. Try to train DV and HN before you will train other outside skills, you can see pops somehow faster.

They do: lvl 1! For my first couple of season I had to struggle with a lvl 5 or 6 trainer (old system), because there weren't any lvl 8 to 10 trainers coming around... Was that a fair system? Just having to wait untill we all got lucky?
And if you are struggeling to get a new lvl 5 trainer in the new system (which I don't believe, just wait a couple more weeks prices will surely drop) then your direct opponents will as well! I know: we all want the best for our teams, but do you seriously believe you can't compete and survive if you got a lvl 4 trainer?

Of course I’ll survive with a lvl 3 trainer but is more difficult to grow…
In my opinion this change has been wrongly managed. For example in hattrick is definitely better: the price of the trainer is fixed and a new team choose the level he wants, for sure depends of the money, but if I decide to invest the money for a good trainer I can do and the price is the same for all the mangers.

BTW was just my impression… maybe I’m wrong.

Growth is always the hardest in the beginning: there is a lot you can spend your money on, but you just don't have it... yet :) Prices will settle, but they may vary a bit because of the salary difference within the levels of staff. And when prices have settled, the situation will be something like the HT situation: very predictable! If you manage you current team/balance right, you will always have the edge over people who will join this game in the future. You will even become better then a lot of players that are playing right now and don't manage their team as good as they could! But there will always be teams who started in season 1 and 2 that will be very hard to beat. Not only because they had a head start, they also manage their team at the max!

You could become a specialist stamina trainer or free throw specialist.... both are as effective with a lvl 1 or 7 trainer.... maybe you could be patient and train these to benefit your players whilst you are searching for a better long term trainer.

It seems to me, that we are all avoiding the core of the problem...if it is a management game, you have to open options not to close them.

This reform apparently opens options but in fact it only closes. Big team already had a 10 level manager, now they could choice between a 5, 6 or 7 with or without special abilities. Ok, some little choice but not this huge thing.
Small teams they see their options reduced because high level coaches have a too high price.
My team already had this level 10, so now I can keep the level 5 until it is beareble, but I don't think I will have 300k to buy another one in a short time. And if I buy a (decent) coach I can't buy a (decent) player.

Anyway I have to admit that the weekly increase is acceptable, it surely aggravetes the economic management but seems susteinable (for teams in good shape, I don't know if it is the same for clubs with some exposition...).

I agree, That waiting wasn't good idea, but new players will lose few weeks until prices will drop by growing..Anyway I don't think that this update is good or bad... It's just made game a bit other than it was..

I saw two level 2 PR-Managers with a speciality sold over 150k, if this is the price at this moment it's better to stay away for me

I don't think 5th division teams should be able to afford level 5 doctors.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.
