I believe "Ebay-like"-Auctions would improve the game a lot.

Make a "Max-Bid" and each time somebody overbids your current bid, thy system is automatically making a bid 5000$ until your max bid is reached.

- the prices will be more constant on the market => less day traders
- no need to be online at 4am, because the auction of Mr. X with 3 times sensationell ends at 4:13am

I have heard many complaints that buzzerbeater is taking way too much time and managers, who are not working on pc with internet connection have a huge disadvantage. And even more copmplained after the new staff system were implemented, because now you also have to look for staff members. This would not completely solve the problem but at least an "ebay-like"-auction would help a lot.

You have my support. Above and beyond the not being at a computer all day issue. I shouldn't have to forfeit a chance at 1/3 of the players available because I choose to sleep 8 hours per day.

You can always bid the maximum you're willing to spend right away, you know -- with or without e-bay style auctions.

This has been suggested before:

...and is not happening.

I'll leave open for discussion, though.
