Dear BB's
Is it possible to hear how you view the current economy and the likely changes to the tax system for next season...

With player salaries jumping up again in the offseason it would be nice to be able to plan ahead. I imagine the transfer market may pick up a bit before the playoffs and if we want to carry a few more overheads in our quest for success it would be nice to understand what sort of income/outgoings we can work towards for season 7.

Thanks!

I can't say this for certain, but I am at least 85% positive the tax on arena revenue will be reduced.

To quote Charles from a recent news item:

Our current estimate for next season is that since the best players are more skilled, the revenue sharing will be decreased to approximately 15-35% for Division I, 5-20% for Division II, and 0-5% for division III.

This looks like a decrease of some sort for all division levels.

That's pretty much it, but I'm not committing to anything 100% - I know better by now ;)

They're all fair responses - I guess what I was getting at is are there plans to let us know in time to actually make calculated decisions OR are we going to know 2 days before the new season??

Because the wages didn't increase during the allstar break could you also give a projeceted salary of the players at the transfer deadline?

I would guess some trainees will increase quite a bit and I think planing your financials is getting more important, so it would be nice to have a little bit of time doing so.

I have to say you are doing a terrific job with the economics of the game and the game itself.

I'm not a NT coach, but maybe I have some data for you. I can't say exactly when the last wage update had occured before these stats, but most of them have about the same wage this season:

1x15 1x14 1x13 = 85k
1x16 1x13 1x12 = 65k
1x17 1x12 1x11 = 71k
1x15 1x13 1x12 = 57k
2x14 1x12 = 61k
1x14 2x12 1x11 = 85k
1x14 1x13 1x11 = 54k
1x15 1x13 1x10 = 51k
2x13 1x12 = 53k
2x13 2x11 = 50k
3x12 1x11 = 56k

Hope this is of some help!

This was taken down by one of our Fed members early this season.. we were trying to figure out the $ amount for each pop for big men.... and this raw data (admittedly very raw!) was kindly posted. As you can see its very difficult to say anything other than big men with 3 good stats are going to set you back $50k pw minimum.

is the name of the federation btw!
