Does anyone know the rough breakdown between free throw skill and free throw percentage? As it is the only skill that should be completely independent of any other factor it should be a pretty straightforward breakdown. For instance all my atrocious FT shooters tend to shoot around 0% or less than 5% but from then on does it increase linearly, exponentially or parabolically? Does each level of FT skill add 5% to their shooting percentage (approximate based on randomness) or is it more like the first couple levels add a lot to the made free throws, etc.?

My team broke down this way last year:
wondrous- 90%
prominent- 84%
proficient- 75%, 80%
strong- 80%
respectable- 79%, 67%
average- 63%
inept- 58%, 53%, 48%
pitiful- 50%
So there is some correlation between skill, but there is also some fairly large deviation. At least for my team last season.
Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Yeah I meant to mention that. I expected experience to be the only influence unless there are hidden elements like momentum.

If you are talking about the differences in shooting percentage within each skill level, perhaps that is due to sublevels?

i'm 99% positive that also stamina has influence on FT, as tired players have worst percentages.
My last game, with 3 OT, gave me some good proof of this.
