The end of quarter logic has improved a lot in the recent seasons, but teams still do not play two for one, and I think every fast-paced team, if not every team, should do this (in quarters other than the last one).

Just for refreshers a two-for-one is when, say with 35 seconds on the clocks Team 1, with the ball, takes a quick jump shot so that they can have the last possession of the quarter.

Instead regularly Team 1 goes through some clock time, say 23 seconds, so that in principle if Team 2 plays well Team 1 does not get the ball back.

Two for one is not something you do all the time -- the problem with 2 for 1 is that you get 2 crappy shots: you have to shoot the ball for in 4-5 secs first, and then you'll likely get it back with 4-5 seconds left on the clock.

That's why I said *fast-paced* teams (I meant fast-paced offenses, really).

I agree. I suppose RnG teams might choose to do it occasionally, though I really don't see any other offensive scheme resorting to it with regularity.
