Hi, I don't know if this has been mentioned before.

From what I have seen so far, there have been too many fouls when the offensive player is jump shooting. I mean, a couple of fouls a game is fine, but in real life, most fouls are committed when driving to the basket. There aren't that many fouls committed when you are actually shooting the ball.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Thanks.

No, if your guy has for example atrocious OD he is going to regularly foul a jump shooter attempting a 3 pointer. Shooting fouls happen often in rl basketball games aswell it does not matter if the guys is driving or not.

he won't say that they don't happen, but he say they happen to often ;) And i can say you that even OD 15 guys foul on 3 pointer, which happen in reality very less because it is stupid ...

I don't know if it need to be changed, but i understand the point from him.

What are you saying that there are no shooting fouls in NBA? Khm... there are plenty of those and not from bad defenders. I believe your 15 OD defence guys do not foul that often. As for the first speaker, your player salarys show that you have no good defenders anyway, none of them are even decent players...

It happens only often inly when the offence jr and js are way better than defenders od. And yes I know which players tend to foul on these shots. Good outside defeders mostly never foul on 3 pointers. Stamina issue is also considered ofcourse.
You again fail to realize that my player responce was for T-MACtotherack, but that's ok. In basketball it's normal for a shitty defender to give open shots at three or foul, simple.

So your point is, that OD 12 Guys had to fould JS/JR 12/10 guys pretty often, when they shoot 25% 3pts?

Do you have proof that you are OD12 guys are fouling JSJR12 guys often? You have less enthusiasm or are playing wrond defence or you lack in the stamina department.

my enthusiam is average for my league, and i know that there are mostly OD 12 guards in my league, and even guys with ten should foul so often my guards ;) The other way around with OD 12-15 against not much better shooters, isn't fine too.

The amount of Jump shot shooting fouls is pretty high, in this game when you compare it to real life where you foul mostly on driving or when they make insideshot. This isn't real life thats why it isn't that bad in my eyes, but the point from the thread starter is understandable, because defender like to jump into their opponent in playing defense, which was noobish fouls in Rl.

Just look at the numbers.

NBA's top FT attempted are players who attack the rim a lot. D12, Harris, Wade, Lebron...

You wont see Kapono there.
