This is a minor suggestion, but I was thinking about it the other night so I'll throw it out there. Why not add some injury information next to "this player is injured"? Something like the actual body part he damaged, things like that. You know, like in any NBA or NFL injury report.

"This player is injured for 2 weeks - knee (or knee sprain, if we want it to have the specifics)"

Sure it's nothing big, but I think it would be nice to know what happened to our guys. Maybe it could lessen the bummer from having him injured in the first place.

No, there has to be the week count and that's it, because if I would know what happens to a player, I would feel very sorry for him.

I think it would add to the realism this game is trying to reach, but hey, as I said it's just a minor thing that won't really change anything to anyone.

I am not sure how realistic it would be to know ahead of time exactly when an injury will heal. "Maybe he'll be ready for Thursday game" seems more realistic then "Thursday morning at 8:10am he will be fine"

I don't think you got what I meant. What I suggest is just to descrive the kind of injury the player suffered, as it happens in the NBA with the injury report.

It's just a matter of adding "knee sprain", "separated shoulder", "bruised hand".
It has nothing to do with knowing when a player will get healthy again.

My bad, I read earlier in t he post that people would prefer if the injury healing were less vague. Thought you were refering to that.

I'm all for more detailed injury reports. I wouldnt mind if it got a little gruesome too. "Reg Hicks was carted off the floor with his femur jutting through his knecap".
